1.  Bakery: 400,000 sq. ft. State-of-the-Art Single Floor Plant; Awards for Sanitation, Production, Engineering.

2.  Distribution: Overnight DSD by Tractor Trailer 5 days per week, 7 straight days throughout major holidays.  Including deliveries on Memorial Day and Fourth of July.

3.  Adjustment Schedule: 24 Hours on Giant Bread, Hamburger and Hot Dog rolls during the summer months.  48 hour schedule on all other products.

4.  Computerized Ordering: Computer assisted ordering using an algorithm calculated daily from our customer's scan data.

5.  Invoicing: Accu-Check paperless automated electronic invoicing system, or traditional paper produced store by store invoicing available.

6.  Code Policy: 7-Day Shelf Life; 10 Days Fresh-Thru

7.  Contingency Plans: Weather sensitive same day bread and roll distribution. This is based on our customer's prearranged, headquarter mandated, store clustered allocations.

8.  Space Management: JDA software, along with a team of space management professionals providing store-by-store plan-o-gram development and execution.

9.  Sales Support: Senior Account Executives, HQ based analyst on the commercial and bake shop program, and a team of 50+ merchandisers and sales supervisors covering customers' stores.

10.  Sale Representative Service: Three, five, or seven-day store level merchandising, product demonstrations, display setup and maintenance as well as grand opening coverage and support.

11.  Grand Opening Support: Two weeks of daily store coverage to assist the new clerk with full bakery training, and a free customer product giveaway on the first day of opening. 

12.  Product Transfers: Need based store product transfer support using our team of sales reps and sales supervisors throughout our customer's coverage area.

13.  Able to Cross-dock, Transport and Invoice Non-Competing Products: Cuirrently using 20+ outside bakery suppliers.  Gold Medal Bakery works closely with customers to locate, assign and distribute regional and ethnic bakery products to specific store locations.  On the corporate level Gold Medal Bakery will work diligently with all customer picked suppliers on the schematics and logistical assistance to launch the product.  This assistance varies from packaging design, product development and quality control to equipment usage, product back-hauling, delivery, and invoicing.

14.  Brand Product Availability: Fiber One, Weight Watchers, Table Talk Pies, Mayan Farm Wraps, Kim's Bagels.  Profitability enhanced due to elimination of the route sales person. 

15.  Total Product Varieties Available as Private Label Items: In excess of 83 produced and cross-docked store brand product offerings.

16.  Promotional Support: Ad and accrual funds avilability.

17.  Product Demonstration: Show and Tell sessions and Hand Selling making use of our team of sales reps and sales supervisors.

18.  In-store Bakery Program: Developed line of high tonnage bake shop items and central fresh baker concept.

19.  Best Practices: Training of all store operations and management staff at district level on established best practices, along with a store level scorecard matrix that is reviewed with divisional management. 

20.  Product Development: Research and Development on all new product offerings based on market and customer demands from initiation to launch to market support. 

21.  Packaging Art Work and Inventory: Packaging design, and redesigns, from artwork to production at the bakery's expense.  A minimum of 13 weeks of inventory stored at the plant based on usage history and promotional demand. 

22.  Category Management: Category and marketing management services by making use of Gold Medal provided analysts at both our site, and the customer's corporate headquarters.  The evaluation of market trends, pricing, promotions, assortment, shelving adjustments and profitability. 

23.  Display Rack Availability: 9-highs, 6-highs, Custom Wings, End Caps

24.  P.O.P. Material: Sales rep-applied, store level sticker program, and customized stickers applied at the plant on promotional and non-promotional items to enhance the retail advantages over the competition.  As well as signs, shelf danglers, and store made item identifying tags.
