Below is a sampling of some of our job openings you may have seen advertised recently: Machine Operators and Shippers (available in the Fall River, MA facility only) (Select
Application #1 above) Earn
over $17.00 per hour (after
training) as a Machine Operator or Shipper working night/evening hours
in our highly automated manufacturing facility. No experience needed,
although some prior work
experience preferred. Five day work week with Tuesday and
Saturday off. Student Summer Positions (available in
the Fall River, MA facility only) (Select Application #1 above) Each summer
Gold Medal Bakery expands its workforce to accommodate a seasonal increase of
demand for our baked goods. We do this
by hiring College Freshmen and High School Seniors to supplement
our regular workforce during the summer.
Students need to be at least 18 years old. This is the
perfect summer job for students because it begins at the beginning of school
break in May and runs through the summer until you need to return to school in
the fall. This job offers a 3-day work
week (10-12 hour days, weekend/night/holiday work required). Earn $14.55
per hour after training, and possibly earn even more each summer you
return. PLUS $1 more per hour night
differential (for each hour worked between the hours of 6pm and 6am). PLUS potentially qualify for an end-of-summer
bonus (average bonus is $400). Once a student
completes a successful summer of employment with us, we offer the additional
opportunity (for those students who go to school and live locally), to continue
working during the school year around their school schedule. Students who complete a successful summer of
work are also eligible to qualify for a $1500 scholarship. CDL-A Tractor Trailer Drivers (Specify area/territory as advertised) (Select Application #3 above) Earn almost $22.00 per hour after
training delivering baked goods to supermarkets throughout New England using
our own trucks. NO OTR! Full time - hourly pay! 5-day work week with Tuesday and Saturday off.
Night/evening hours required. Class A CDL license and 2 years
experience required with clean driving record. Maintenance Mechanics (available in the Fall River, MA facility only) (Select Application #1 above) Perform preventative maintenance on
equipment and machinery, fulfill work orders or respond to machine service
calls. Must have mechanical, electrical,
pneumatic and hydraulic experience. Welding experience also helpful. Must have
experience working with PLC’s. Night/evening
hours required. Bakery Products Representative / Sales
Representative (Specify area/territory as advertised) (Select Application #2 above) Entry level position traveling to
supermarkets setting up signs and product display racks, arranging bakery
products on shelves, and ordering product. No experience necessary. Great benefits for full-time positions! Mileage reimbursement. For full-time positions, 5-day work week
with alternating schedule. For seasonal/ part-time positions, hours and pay vary, and are posted in job advertisement. GOLD
