J.S.B. Industries Inc. Expands Portfolio With Acquisition of Crustless Sandwich Brand, Fave’Wich, Gold Medal Bakery Continues as a Trusted Manufacturing Partner.
J.S.B. Industries Inc, a national Massachusetts-based baking manufacturer, today announced the acquisition of the crustless sandwich brand, Fave’Wich, from Gold Medal Bakery. The acquisition brings the established Fave’Wich product under JSB’s ownership while building on a longstanding partnership between the two companies.
As part of the transition, Gold Medal Bakery will continue serving as the trusted manufacturing partner for the bread used in Fave’Wich products. This continued partnership ensures customers can expect the same quality they know and love, while JSB takes the brand forward with a renewed focus on growth and innovation. The product will transition from ambient to a refrigerated angle.
“This acquisition represents an exciting step forward for JSB Industries as we continue to advance our strategic objectives including the push for Grab & Go,” Scott Anderson, Vice President of JSB, said in a statement, adding that JSB is on a mission to make nut-free healthy snacking fun, convenient, and delicious for kids and families.

The acquisition represents an opportunity for JSB to build on the strength and recognition of the Fave’Wich name, while continuing partnership with Gold Medal Bakery.
“We found a new home for Fave’wich. Another great family owned and operated company will buy us. Our work will reach new heights, and we are excited to continue supporting Fave’Wich and our long-standing partnership with JSB in this new chapter” said Brian LeComte, President and COO.
The addition of Fave’Wich further strengthens JSB’s portfolio of brands and expands its offering to customers. Gold Medal Bakery will remain a trusted manufacturing partner, leveraging its expertise as a leading bread manufacturer to produce the bread component of the product.
